This elegant greatsword features a blade forged from green overlapping steel plates like leaves, giving it the appearance of seemingly living wood. The hilt is adorned with intricate engravings depicting vines and roots intertwining with the weapon. When attuned to Graftkeeper’s Blade, you gain the following benefits:

  • Nature’s Blessing: Graftkeeper’s Blade has a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls.

  • Living Steel: The blade of Graftkeeper’s Blade has the properties of living wood. It is immune to rust and corrosion.

  • Plant the Thorn: On any attack the user can snap a portion of the blade within an enemy. The enemy will take 1d10 poison damage until they use an action to remove the blade. You may use the blades charge to regrow it to its full size as a free action. Until the blade is restored by using a charge it rolls only 1d6 base damage.

  • Rooted: Graftkeeper’s Blade grants you advantage on saving throws against effects that would impede your movement, such as being restrained or paralyzed.

  • Gift of the Grafted: During a short rest, you can spend a charge of this weapon to heal yourself, You may use the charge to add and immediately consume a hitdice.

All charges are returned by the end of a long rest.
